Midwest Reliability Organization’s (MRO) Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement Program Advisory Council (CMEPAC) invites you to attend a webinar with Julie Sikes, O&P Compliance Monitoring Manager, and Sam Zewdie, O&P Principal Compliance Engineer, who will share details of a planned MRO readiness assessment for NERC Reliability Standard EOP-012-1, Requirement 2. This readiness assessment will help registered entities prepare for compliance with criteria related to operating in extreme cold weather.

The webinar will include:

• How the readiness assessment facilitates transparent communication between entities and MRO, set expectations before enforcement, share best practices and clarifications (if needed) through outreach
• Overview of Generator Owner and MRO activities
• Timeline outlining key milestones
• Anticipated outreach initiatives, including lessons learned and best practices

This presentation is applicable to all Generator Owners in MRO’s regional territory, as well as interested industry organizations, state and provincial regulators, and other interested parties that share a common vision of a highly reliable and secure North American bulk power system.
