Midwest Reliability Organization (MRO) is pleased to announce it is hosting a webinar highlighting the key findings from the soon-to-be-released 2026 Regional Summer Assessment (RSA). The 2026 RSA reflects MRO’s independent assessment of the upcoming summer season. It highlights challenges and potential risks to the reliable and secure operation of the Bulk Power System (BPS) within MRO’s regional footprint. The assessment provides an evaluation of the necessary resources and transmission system adequacy to meet projected summer peak demand in June through September 2026. It also examines historical data related to regional BPS performance to identify trends most impactful to system reliability during the summer months.
