Midwest Reliability Organization (MRO) hosted a webinar highlighting key findings from the 2025 Regional Summer Assessment (RSA). The 2025 RSA reflected MRO’s independent assessment of the upcoming summer season, identifying challenges and potential reliability risks to the reliable and secure operations of the bulk power system within MRO’s regional footprint. The assessment provided an evaluation of resource and transmission system adequacy necessary to meet projected summer peak demands from June through September 2025, along with historical data on bulk power system performance to identify trends most impactful to summer reliability.
